Elevation: ~1,560 m (5,118 ft) Activity: Travel to Mangan/Singhik and settle in. Use this day for last-minute packing and acclimatization while enjoying the views of Mt. Khangchendzonga.
Route: Drive to the road head at Naksuk, then begin the trek into the Naga Reserved Forest. Terrain: A steady climb through temperate forests of Maple and Bamboo. Stay: Overnight camp at Khukray Dhar
Route: Continue the ascent through the broad-leaved forest toward the higher ridges. Terrain: The path becomes steeper as you move toward the alpine zone. This area is known for its beautiful birdlife and pristine forest cover. Stay: Overnight camp at Gumnay.
Elevation: 3,962 m (13,000 ft) at the Lake. Route: The final push to the sacred Tosar Lake, located at the junction of the Mangan and Chola ranges. Highlights: Worship at the sacred cliff, take in the East Face of Khangchendzonga, and explore the ridge toward Maram Chu. Stay: Return to Gumnay for the night.
Route: Begin the descent back through the Mangan Ridge. Activity: A gentler day of trekking, retracing your steps through the northern slopes. Stay: Final night of camping at Khukray Dhara.
Route: Complete the final descent to the Naksuk road head. Activity: Short drive back to Singhik or Mangan. End: Trek concludes with a return to comfort in town.
